Welcome to the “You Don’t Know?” community. This is the place where we introduce snippets of history as well as past and present events. We hope that what we say sparks your inner curiosity and you seek the knowledge that sets you free.

During the shutdown due to the pandemic, Sister Cleo and I had the feeling that many people were just plain lost! Specifically, our black youth. We watched senseless murders of black men AND women, and the world shouted, “BLACK LIVES MATTER.”

Do black lives matter to black people? What gives any life meaning? What instills pride in a person, a race of people? Why is it necessary to say to the world that Black Lives Matter?

You Don’t Know? Please come and walk with us as we travel through time to see how past and present events shape the lives of black people in America. Travel with us as we examine how the world views black men and women living in America.

What does history teach us?

Let’s go back in American history, back to Africa, and further back to the beginnings of civilization, if necessary. I guarantee that you will be amazed and surprised at the greatness that lives in all of us.
